Bloodlines In this I collection I examine connections between people. Connections that tie us together over time, between families, ethnic groups etc... I use oil and acrylics to paint over what appear to be vintage portraits. The figures are dressed with elements of collage using old sewing patterns representative of patterns that we repeat, some intuitively and others learned from generation to generation. I've painted a distinctive red line across each canvas to illustrate the connection between people. I believe that ultimately we are all connected somehow.
